The 35th Kangaroo Island Easter Art Exhibition will return to its traditional Easter timeslot, but now in 2021.
The biannual exhibition, which is the island’s largest and most highly regarded art show is now planned to open on Good Friday, 2 April 2021, at Penneshaw Town Hall. It will run for an extended duration of 14 days to include the first week of the SA school holidays.
The Artists Collective KI is delighted to confirm that Rhana Devenport, director of the Art Gallery of SA, and Emma Fey, CEO of Guildhouse, are both available to judge in 2021.
In light of the recent events, ’On The Edge’ − which is the theme for the major open category − and the inaugural Diana Keir Art Award together provide great scope for works across a range of mediums and formats. An exciting catalogue of exhibits is expected.
