The Kangaroo Island Easter Art Exhibition opened on Friday 2 April with a gala night in Penneshaw. Judges Rhana Devenport, Art Gallery of SA, and Emma Fey, Guildhouse, had made their selections from 200 entries and those gathered were ready to hear what they thought.
The full list of winners will soon be up on the Easter Art Exhibition page of this website but for now, winner of the Diana Keir Art Award for 2021 is Janine Mackintosh for her assemblage work, Habitat sweet habitat.
Janine was also one of the artists of the Highly Commended, Act of Sorrow 1, with Deb Sleeman, Ria Byass and Dave Foreman.
